Staying motivated during your fitness journey can be tough. Going to the gym or working out at home can sometimes feel like a full-time job in itself. It's a normal rut to get into, just stay there too long and don't let it get the best of you. Being a new person in the gym or working out at home, it's important to take these first steps to begin your journey to building quality muscle and overall health for your mind and body.
1) Take before photos. This may difficult because you just simply may be unhappy with your image. Don't be, take those photos and they will motivate you later on when you achieve your goals.
2) Create realistic expectations for yourself. Even though we may not achieve the exact physique we want, we still need to create goals that are reachable and build off of that. Building goals keeps you motivated.
3) Take measurements. This will be a motivating factor when you start shedding the pounds or putting on muscle.
